Precision Terminations

Terminations that pass — not intermittent ghosts

A cable is only as good as its ends. We terminate RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks, patch panels, and coax fittings with consistent standards so cameras and workstations stay online.

Cable Termination installation by Ultimate Security

Intermittent camera dropouts and “mystery” desk outages often trace back to poor terminations — pairs untwisted too far, wrong pinouts, or crushed connectors. Ultimate Security provides network cable termination as a focused service for new pulls and for fixing existing Whitby and GTA plants that never quite worked right.

We terminate to a consistent T568 standard across the job, dress pairs cleanly into jacks and panels, and fit coax ends properly on RG6/RG59 where analog or RF still applies. When we rework someone else’s cable, we cut back to healthy conductors rather than stacking another bad connector on a chewed end.

Termination is also the moment labelling becomes permanent. We mark panels and faceplates so the next service call — whether it is ours or your IT partner’s — does not turn into an hour of tone-and-probe archaeology.

FAQ

Questions about cable termination

T568A or T568B — which do you use?

Either works if both ends match. We follow the standard already used on site when extending a plant, or standardize on one scheme for new installs and document it.

Can you fix cables that were poorly terminated by someone else?

Often yes. We re-terminate or replace damaged ends and verify the link. If the cable itself is damaged mid-run, a new pull may be required.

Do you terminate coax as well as Ethernet?

Yes. We terminate RG6 and RG59 with appropriate connectors for the application.

Is termination included with a full cabling install?

Yes. Full structured cabling projects include terminations, labelling, and basic link checks. This service page is for termination-focused or remediation work as well.
