Identity Analytics

Match faces at the door when identity matters

When you need more than “someone is here,” facial recognition compares captured faces to enrolled profiles. We design camera angles, lighting, and software enrolment for reliable matches at busy GTA entrances.

Facial Recognition installation by Ultimate Security

Facial recognition is a specialized layer on top of surveillance. It is appropriate when matching a face to an enrolled identity supports security or operations — for example flagging a known restricted person at a lobby, or confirming staff at a controlled staff entrance. Ultimate Security does not treat it as a novelty; we design for capture quality first, because poor angles and backlight will defeat any algorithm.

Installations across Whitby and the GTA start with a site survey: door traffic patterns, lighting at peak hours, camera height, and where enrolment photos will be managed. We configure compatible analytics hardware/software, enrol test subjects, and verify match behaviour before handing the system over.

Because identity data is sensitive, we help you keep the system scoped to doors that need it, document who administers the watchlist, and pair recognition with ordinary HD recording so you still have full video context around every match event.

FAQ

Questions about facial recognition

Do we need facial recognition or is detection enough?

If you only need to know a person is present, detection is usually enough. Choose recognition when matching against enrolled identities is part of your security process.

What affects recognition accuracy?

Camera height, face size in the frame, lighting, and enrolment photo quality. We design placement and settings around those factors during commissioning.

Can recognition work with our existing cameras?

Sometimes — if existing cameras and the recorder support the feature and are aimed correctly. Often a dedicated doorway camera is the better path; we assess on site.

Do you help with privacy considerations in Ontario?

We can advise on practical deployment scope and signage practices for workplace cameras, but legal compliance for your organization should be confirmed with your counsel or privacy officer.
